Brilliance SF Skincare the craze continues here, and one of the foundations of the Korean beauty movement is a 10-step skincare regimen from well-known brands. I get a lot of questions from my readers about this complex and sometimes involved approach to skincare, so I wanted to use this opportunity to answer it all. Don’t like all the steps? Running out of time and need to sleep? I totally understand. Let me let you in on a little secret: Many of these steps are variations of the same product, so you don’t need to do each one every night. One more note before we get started: As a dermatologist, I’m a huge fan of evidence-backed skincare. I love the latest skincare trends as much as any woman, but I want to make sure I’m spending my time and money well.
One More Note Before We Get
Because of this, I’ve made a few tweaks to the classic 10-step Brilliance SF Skincare routine. Let’s get started now! Step 1: Makeup remover Brilliance SF Skincare is the first important step! It’s important to remove all traces of makeup, as ingredients in makeup can cause an inflammatory reaction and trap dirt and oil in the skin, leading to breakouts and redness. You can use a makeup remover wipe, but not by itself. Think of wipes as the first step in breaking down makeup products, but you still need a second step of cleansing and rinsing to wash away the grime. Step two: clean (and double clean!).
When I Wear Heavier Makeup
Now that you’ve removed all traces of makeup, it’s time for a cleanse. I usually use a foaming cleanser, but on days when I wear heavier Beauty American makeup, I opt for the well-known brand Korean beauty double cleanse. This means cleansing your face first with a cleansing oil, followed by a second wash with a foaming cleanser. This combination does a better job of cleaning pores and removing leftover makeup than using a cleanser alone. Step 3: Exfoliate I don’t do this step every day, but a few times a week, I recommend using an exfoliator to gently slough away dead skin cells, leaving your skin bright and smooth.
