According to my experience chatting with a therapist who specializes in postpartum recovery is a good channel for venting. At that moment, you will experience the rareness of knowing and understanding. In fact, talking to anyone, including a partner, parent, sibling, or trusted friend, can go a long way toward postpartum recovery. It has been said that it takes a village to raise a child. It’s also like listening to and helping a new mother realize that her own well-being is just as important as her child’s. Daily beauty care is also an important part of self-care For me, maintaining a ritualized beauty routine has played a big part in my postpartum recovery.

My Skin From The Sun

And I don’t mean the meticulous skincare I used to have or the Instagram-like makeup I used to spend hours on just for fun and Nutrisystem photos. I don’t have time for that right now. Instead, I’m constantly tweaking my grooming routine to squeeze in limited time for a little bit of pleasurable me-time to fit into my new role as a working mother. It may sound trivial, but as a woman who loves beauty and has a strong sense of self, even just a few minutes back in time has made a big difference and helped me reawaken my self-confidence. Novice mothers should also maintain skincare habits I’ve cut back my skincare routine as much as possible, but I still love it and feel the benefits it does for my skin.

That Help Combat Dry Skin

My morning skincare routine is short but practical, as it’s the busiest part of my day. I’m sure new mothers will feel the same way Web Care Face first, I wash my face with a gentle cleanser, and Mad Hippie’s new gel cleanser is a great option. I follow with a hydrating toner and a mild daily moisturizer, followed by sunscreen. I try to go for a walk as often as possible, so sunscreen is a must. During my pregnancy, I started experimenting more with physical sunscreens, using physical sunscreens like zinc oxide instead of chemical sunscreens to protect my skin from the sun. I don’t think physical methods are necessarily better than chemical methods.
